Leo Villarreal, a Corpus Christi, Texas operations clerk, exemplified Saia's Xtreme Performance when he took it upon himself to deliver a critical shipment to a nursing home.

Leo heard that an 87-year-old diabetic patient with a feeding tube was in need of nutritional supplements that had just arrived at our service center that morning. He immediately volunteered to transport the product using his personal truck. Leo drove over 80 miles to make sure the patient was taken care of.

In a recent letter to Saia, the medical supplier wrote to thank Leo for his help in taking care of their customer.

Saia is pleased to announce that a new terminal opened January 14 in Grayling, Michigan, bringing the total number of Saia terminals in Michigan to five. With this new addition, Saia now offers 100% coverage in Michigan (with the exception of the Upper Peninsula).
