To maintain our high level of invoicing accuracy, we've set up a well-trained team that has both individual and team goals. Each person on the team is monitored daily using Saia's extensive reporting capabilities. Each team member holds themselves—and Saia—accountable for every invoice.
Invoicing Accuracy is based on a 12-month rolling calendar. To obtain the percentage, we subtract the number of freight bills with carrier related errors from the total number of shipments picked up, and then divide the total number of shipments picked up.
Our goal for invoicing accuracy is high—99%. Last month we achieved a 99.10% level.
