SAIA COVERAGE EXPANDS EVEN MORE!
I'm very pleased to announce that Saia has successfully completed two acquisitions that have expanded our direct coverage into the upper Midwest and Wisconsin. In November, we acquired The Connection Company, with 19 terminals in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. In February 2007, we acquired Madison Freight Systems, a Wisconsin-based carrier that has expanded our direct coverage to 100% in that state.
In addition to our expanded direct coverage, customers continue to benefit from the service our XtremePerformance provides as demonstrated by our Customer Service Indicators ® (CSIs).

Saia Wins Lowe's Award
Thanks to our employees, Saia was recognized by Lowe's Companies, Inc. for exceeding four service performance indicators, and was given the "2006 Platinum Team Award." It is the highest award that can be earned from the home improvement giant and Saia was the only LTL carrier to receive it in 2006. We were also honored with the 2006 LTL Outstanding Program Development Award. Saia was one of only a few carriers to take away multiple awards from the ceremony, hosted by Lowe's, the country's second largest home improvement retailer and #42 on the Fortune 500.
