The Connection Company brought to Saia 2006 revenue earnings of $70 million, as well as a core business of one- and two-day LTL service. The Connection network contained 19 terminals and 800 employees, as well as a strong heritage since 1983.

Madison Freight Systems (MFS) brought annual revenue of $15 million to Saia. MFS was established more than 60 years ago, with a focus on intra-state core business in Wisconsin. With this acquisition, we have expanded our direct coverage to 100% in Wisconsin.
